Our Philosophy

Via Partenope is the passion of four Italian-born entrepreneurs for the world’s most famous dish—Pizza—and their vision to pair it with a Mediterranean menu in an inspiring and attractive setting, proposing a fresh business concept that blends flavors rich in tradition and taste.

All our dishes are prepared to order using simple methods that honor tradition and preserve the essence of our fresh, genuine ingredients.

History

How Via Partenope Was Born and Why

Via Partenope was inspired by one of the most iconic streets in Naples, with views of Mount Vesuvius and the island of Capri. This city, founded by the ancient Greeks, is a cradle of music, history, landscape, and Mediterranean cuisine. According to legend, it was the siren Partenope who gave birth to Naples, and her myth still lives in the soul of the city.

Inspired by this heritage, four friends—Antonio, Franco, Giovanni, and Roberto—came together through their shared passion for Italian and Neapolitan cuisine. The first expression of this idea took shape in Quito, where they opened their first restaurant under the name Via Partenope, bringing with them the spirit of Naples and the flavor of its history.

Partenope and Napoles

The legend of Parthenope, the siren who gave rise to the mythical origins of Naples, symbolizes Neapolitan identity: a beautiful, melancholic city deeply connected to the sea. That is why its inhabitants are called Parthenopeans. This mythical legacy is directly connected to the daily life and culture of the city.

The Culinary Aspect: The Mediterranean Diet
Naples is the spiritual capital of the Mediterranean Diet, recognized by UNESCO as a lifestyle. Its strength comes from the volcanic soil of Campania, which gives character to essential products such as San Marzano tomatoes and extra virgin olive oil.

Mediterranean Cuisine and Well-being in 2026
In 2026, Neapolitan cuisine continues to be an example of resourcefulness and sustainability. The combination of legumes and grains, such as pasta e fagioli, offers complete nutrition and low environmental impact, integrated into gastronomic routes that link history and the market.

In Naples, eating is an act of love and hospitality. The Mediterranean diet is not experienced as a restriction, but as a celebration of life, keeping the spirit of Parthenope alive in every bite of bread, oil, and tomato.

Napoletana pizza

Napoletana (STG) with a thin, soft, and moist center, high edges with internal alveoli, made with ingredients rooted in tradition and transformed by our pizzaioli using the methods established in the production disciplinary: long-fermented dough stretched by hand, pomodoro pelato campano, fior di latte, and fast baking in a high-temperature artisanal oven—all to deliver our perfect and authentic pizza.
